There’s nothing so surreal as free falling; a hurtling kind of floating full of contradiction, at once peaceful and full of panic. The ease of moving through the air laced with the heaving anticipation of the thud that’s to come. Our hearts beat fast while the seconds go slow. It is this soft movement followed by hard, crashing finality that has us living in two worlds at once – the zen of the moment flirts with a fear of the future. -TF
