Troye Sivan is many things: singer, actor, YouTuber, fragrance entrepreneur, idol, muse, incidental interior designer. For SIDE-NOTE’s first hardcover print issue, we asked the multi-hyphenate creative to be none of those. Instead, we asked him to be a fashion model. And, unsurprisingly, he was up to the task, performing for photographer Daphne Nguyen in whatever our stylist Nichhia Wippell put him in. The camera — and the clothes — loved him. Double-denim Balenciaga, leather Gucci and Celine, oversized Prada, skin-baring Ottolinger and Şener Besim. Troye knows his angles. In what has become something of a model tradition, we asked him to document the day he spent with us — everything from the snacks to behind-the-scenes and selfies with the crew.
